“ Had the salad with a scoop of tuna salad. It was fresh and fine, tuna was slightly dry. I also tried a croissant. It was good but I'm not sure I know what good is. This is a solid lunch option and pretty popular. ”
“ One of the best hidden little spots in Indy! The club sandwich on a croissant is what you've been missing. Fresh meat and amazing cheese and they Pile it on. Dont forget a freshly baked treat. I always grab a sweet, Housemade Rice Krisipe treat to take home. The service staff is dedicated and they will remember your order. Bistro style and fun to dine at. Dont miss out on this hidden gem. ”
“ You all, I'm embarrassed to admit this was my first time at Illinois Street Food Emporium. After spending the last two years driving by every day on my way to daycare drop off, I finally made it a priority for a meeting to start from here. I thoroughly enjoyed my cold brew coffee and I had to try their infamous cookies. I appreciate that they offer a molasses cookie, which can be hard to come by and is one of my favorites. They also have a selection of charming iced sugar cookies that are especially fun for kiddos. The service was straight forward. This definitely is a neighborhood hang out with a lot of regulars frequenting their tables on the patio. They also offer a variety of quiches, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. I look forward to exploring my way through the menu. I especially want to try one of their quiches that I've heard are delicious. The prices are fairly average . They offer both indoor and outdoor patio seating. The location is sweet with neighboring businesses like boutiques, a bookstore, grocery store, and ice cream shop next door. Embarrassed that it took me this long to visit but looking forward to a future with more Illinois Street Food Emporium in the mix. ”
“ This neighborhood gem has been around for many years, and is still well-loved by the locals! I dropped in one day to do a bit of work and have brunch. I stood in line to order and had a nice conversation with a woman who said her swim group came here after their class at the Rivi. It was just before lunch and the place was hopping! I ordered at the counter and sat down with my number, only to wait a few minutes before my food was delivered. I chose the Greek scrambler at the recommendation of the very sweet employee taking my order. It was served with fresh fruit and two slices of wheat toast. For the price, it was definitely a deal, and the eggs were cooked perfectly to my liking. The fruit was indeed fresh and sweet, and the coffee was flavorful. They have a bakery case with cookies/pastries and a coffee bar. Also, the nice woman I talked with raved about their prepared meals in the refrigerated case by the door. They had quiches, soups, meals, even flatbread pizzas to go! Everything was very reasonably priced, as well. The dining area was quite clean and there were no tables in need of bussing. I'm definitely going to return to try a couple of their prepared items at my next visit! ”
“ Every single time I come here it's pure joy! I should come more often honestly! A small gem in the neighborhood. Staff is friendly. Food comes out fast. Quality of food is superb. I have never had something here I didn't like. They have soup and pies to go. Bread and pastries. Breakfast is served until 11 am. Patio seating is always clean and ready. I would suggest it to anyone! ”
“ This place was HOPPIN' for lunch on a Thursday! We live in the MK neighborhood and this place has been on our list for lunch for a while (yikes--like 5 years). Better late than never! The Havarti Veggie sandwich + veggie soup was an amazing light lunch. It was crispy, savory, and declious. Yum. What I loved most about this place is the display cases with all the in-house made dessert options. Chocolate croissants, cakes, cookies, donuts, brownies, and more. There is also a freezer filled with pies, quiches, cookies, strudels, and other items you can take home and bake. What a neighborhood treasure! Word to the wise: the tables are pretty close together -- if it is space you prefer, maybe get your food to go. It is counter service, and don't forget to stop by the be beverage counter to pick up your drink. ”
“ Somehow I've lived in broad ripple area for almost 6 years and haven't tried this place. It feels criminal to know this delicacy has been so close and I've missed out on these incredible sandwiches and side the last few years. My husband and I are going to try and make up for lost time now and meet here weekly for lunch. Service is fast and friendly. Inside is always clean. The food is just wonderful. I would eat the pasta salad with a shovel if I could lol ”
“ We got a box of pastries for a relaxing Saturday morning at home. Inside seating was pretty full but the staff was wonderful and we didn't feel rushed by them to choose from the wide assortment!! We got a loaf of fresh sourdough, which they will slice, no charge. Only 3.99$! An apple fritter(state fair reminiscent) HUGE, 2 alligators (delicious), a Boston cream donut, and 3 rutlach, between 3 of us we had more than enough, even some leftovers!! And bread for the week . This is a neighborhood gem that did not disappoint!! Highly recommend! ”
